MEET KOBY
Tattoo Artist | Leather Atelier
Born in Idaho, Koby spent his childhood exploring high mountain deserts, forests, and rivers. He developed a deep love for nature and the interactions shared between all organisms. His love for art started early where he learned the fundamentals and techniques of leather craft from his grandfather; he continues working as a leather atelier crafting unique luxury handmade leather goods. He joined the Navy after high school and traveled around the United States and Japan. After completing his service he carried his love for nature forward by studying Biology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, obtaining his bachelor’s degree in 2020.
All throughout his young adult life Koby was getting tattooed where he really began to fall in love with the craft of tattooing. In 2024 he began his own tattoo journey, and joined our team as an apprentice in November. He has progressed quickly beginning to tattoo clients in April 2025 where he has developed a love for nature inspired work, realism, and semi-realism projects. He is currently wanting to do more dark realism, nature, and large scale ornamental floral projects. Even though he has a style he is working towards establishing himself in, he is excited and passionate to work on any project, and style, as he continues to grow into a well rounded artist.
